Integrated and comprehensive, the model of care identifies and then fills gaps within communities to ensure the structures and services are in place to provide the care needed for success. Services include a range of assessments, and intervention techniques that enable persons to develop the practical, emotional, and social skills required to enjoy a healthy and success-oriented life.

The Redpath model for prevention and intervention was originally developed in response to Indigenous people’s specific needs and is particularly effective in treating substance use and trauma.
