The PATTERNS – Family Program is provided for friends and family whose “significant others” are struggling with substance use, whether or not their significant other is participating in one of the Hope Place Centre’s treatment programs. The program coordinator provides information about addiction and the role friends and family play in supporting their significant other’s recovery. In addition, individual counselling sessions with the Family Program Coordinator are available.

The Phase 1 Substance Abuse Program consists of stabilization and early recovery. This phase of the treatment services offers a weekly support group for individuals who wish to attend groups while waiting for Phase 2. These can be accessed soon after being referred to the organization.

The Phase 2 Substance Abuse Program provides assessment, individual counselling, and support groups while individuals explore their substance use. The therapists create treatment plans, in partnership with the individual, that are flexible and tailored to the needs and goals of the individual. A peer-led substance use support program for LGBTTQQ2SIA youth (age 16-29) in Toronto.
Provides:
– case management support includes identifying and pursuing a range of goals such as those around substance use, housing, employment, and mental health

Rainbow Service provides free outpatient group-based treatment for concurrent disorders, specifically for Two-Spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and non-binary ( 2SLGBTQ) communities. We treat individuals in group therapy with a focus on substance use treatment and trauma treatment. Our treatment models involve Community Reinforcement Approach (CRA), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy ( CPT) and Seeking Safety.

Enter from residential phase. Re-entry and aftercare on a voluntary basis. After this, Re-entry and Aftercare Worker keeps in contact with alumni to offer support as needed for up to two years from date of intake into program. Clients may return to facility for occasional weekend programming if additional support is needed. Some community outreach if nearby.
